Presenter Howard D. Bye-Torre is an attorney in the Seattle office of Stoel Rives LLP. He assists clients with employee benefits matters relating to health, cafeteria, and other welfare plans. Mr. Bye-Torre has written and spoken on healthcare reform, HIPAA, domestic partners and same-sex marriage benefits issues, Medicare Part D, wellness programs, ERISA, and other state and federal law benefit topics. He is a contributing author to two employee benefit books published by the Employee Benefits Institute of America (EBIA): "Employee Benefits for Domestic Partners: Design, Taxation, and Administration," and "HIPAA: Portability, Privacy & Security."
