Join us for an afternoon in Bellevue to discuss new and trending plan design options for your retirement and health and welfare plans, including the benefits that attract and retain employees in today’s marketplace, and opportunities to simplify and streamline your plan administration.

Speakers:

Pam Hembrow is Manager, Global Retirement Benefits at Microsoft Corporation, where she is responsible for the US 401(k) and Non-Qualified Plans and has governance over Microsoft’s retirement plans outside of the US. She has also worked to develop Microsoft’s Financial Wellbeing program in the US, including employee tools, advice, and communications. Over the last 18 years, Pam has worked as a recordkeeper, program manager, and consultant across all benefits and is energized by the opportunity to be innovative and create unique and targeted offerings to improve employee short-term and long-term financial wellbeing. Pam holds the Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) designation and currently sits on the board of the Silicon Valley Employers Forum.

Jennifer Schuessler is Regional Sales Director at Empower Retirement. In her role, Jennifer is responsible for marketing corporate retirement plan services to intermediaries and plan sponsors and has 12 years of industry experience. She joined the organization in 2007 and previously served as a Communications Program Manager, where she managed the sales strategy for the firm’s communication and education offering nationally. Jennifer has also served as Strategic Communications Manager and Financial Education Consultant. Before joining the firm, she served as a Financial Advisor for MWA Financial Services, Inc. Jennifer holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas where she studied business administration and Spanish. She also maintains her Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) professional designation and has a graduate certificate in Financial Planning from Kansas State University. She currently maintains FINRA Series 6, 63, and 65 securities registrations, to coincide with sponsoring broker-dealer’s registration. Jennifer holds FINRA Series 7 credentials.

Tara McErlean is VP, Sales at Care.com, where she leads the acquisition of new Care@Work client partners for the Western half of the U.S. She oversees a team of Enterprise Sales Directors and works closely with them on solution design for future client partners. Before joining Care@Work, Tara was a Regional Vice President of Sales at International SOS. She brings more than 20 years of experience in business services sales and account management leadership with a focus on solution sales for large enterprise customers across many different industries. Originally from Philadelphia, Tara now lives in Richmond Beach with her husband, Paavo, son, Finn and two dogs, Sherman and Izzy.

Patrik Parsons is Director of Sales for the PNW at Care.com, where he helps a wide range of employers create family care solutions. Patrik is a PNW Native and a Northwest University graduate, he grew up in Spokane before eventually making his home in Bothell with his Wife and two children (with another on the way). Patrik has experience within the HRIS space and was introduced to the world of employee benefits as a channel partner manager for ADP, where we worked directly with medical benefit brokers. Patrik is passionate about building partnerships and bringing value to his clients by focusing on creative solutions for his enterprise clients.
