Financial wellness
What services are evolving? How are they delivered? How are they measured? How are plan sponsors putting this together from a strategic perspective?
Many employers offer workplace programs which promote and support physical health. Now attention is shifting to whether employers can play a similar beneficial role in helping their employees become better at managing their personal finances. Often these discussions begin with saving for retirement, but can quickly expand into budgeting skills, managing college and other debt, saving for a home or college, etc.
Presenter Katie Hockenmaier, Mercer
Mercer has been working with employers to understand how financial wellness programs can be incorporated into their benefit package. Katie Hockenmaier, a Principal at Mercer's San Francisco office, will provide her observations on how to develop a strategy, assemble and deliver the program, and measure success.
