Private Exchanges: Two Leading and Innovative Approaches

1 CE has been approved by the WAOIC for this program

Chris Renz and Todd Ringwood will provide their personal experiences, the relevant background, their research and many other learning’s along the way that brought their private exchange to fruition. Hear firsthand how employers coached and helped them to design specific features of their value solution that was brought to the market.

Two models will be reviewed, how are they similar/different? Why did they select their models? This forum provides a unique learning experience of each approach from two national leading consulting firms.

  • Setting the stage and background – A description of two basic approaches
    • How each firm got down the private exchange path
  • Employer/Market reaction and what’s been the progress to date?
    • What do they want to achieve? Why are clients and vendor partners interested in this alternative?
    • What challenges are they facing?
    • What surprises have they encountered?
  • Lesson’s learned and vision for the future
    • Observations from the first open enrollment
  • Where can this ultimately lead?
